Bro. Wes Robertson serves as the Pastor of Charter Oak Baptist Church in Guthrie, Oklahoma, a position he has held since 2021. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, he is privileged to serve bivocationally as a hospice chaplain, providing spiritual support and compassionate care to individuals and families during life’s most challenging seasons.
Pastor Wes holds a Master of Arts degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His ministry is marked by a commitment to the faithful exposition of Scripture, pastoral care, and the spiritual formation of God’s people. He is passionate about equipping believers to live out their faith with conviction and grace in everyday life.
He and his wife, McKenzie, are blessed with two children, Gemma and Wylie. The Robertson family is grateful to call Guthrie home and to serve the Lord alongside the Charter Oak Baptist Church family. When time allows, Pastor Robertson enjoys reading, studying theology, and a good cup of coffee.
Pastor Wes's vision for ministry is to shepherd God’s people through faithful preaching, compassionate care, and Christ-centered leadership. He believes the local church is God’s chosen instrument for spiritual growth and gospel witness, and he is dedicated to cultivating a community marked by biblical truth, genuine fellowship, and a passion for missions. His desire is to see believers grow in their love for Christ, live out their faith in everyday life, and lead others to experience the transforming power of the gospel.
